... und schon geht es gut los. Hier nun ein kleiner Neujahrsbericht, was sich zwischen den Feiertagen alles bei uns getan hat.
Am Häuschen haben wir weitere Rostnester aufgetan und großzügig entfernt und behandelt. Leider hat sich dabei herausgestellt, dass der ein oder andere Spachtelkönig sein Glück Vorne rechts und hinten links probiert hat. Ärgerlich, aber das wird uns nicht umwerfen. Wir haben die neuen Schweller dann richtig sitzend auf die Bodengruppe geschraubt, am Häuschen großzügig die alten Schwellerreste herausgetrennt und dann das Häuschen aufgesetzt und Schweller am Häuschen festgeschweißt. Na also, es geht doch! Knapp ein Jahr nach dem Abheben kommt die Hütte erstmals wieder (temporär) drauf und die Sache sieht wieder halbwegs nach Auto aus. Das bringt Motivation!
Während der ruhigen Feiertage hat Steven außerdem den wackeren 30 PS Motor ein wenig auf Vordermann gebracht. Sieht schon ganz anständig aus! So kanns weitergehen...!

A happy new year...
... and it is a good start. What follows is a little new-year-report on what was going on this holiday season.
The body showed up some more mean rust spots which we treated and removed gently. Unfortunately, we found that one or the other master of repair-kits tried his luck on the front right and rear left. This sucks, but it won’t put us at stop. We now have the sills properly arranged and last rusty sill-parts on the body removed. Then we “married” the body with the pan and welded the new sills in place. Well!! It’s working!! Just about one year after we took off the body, the whole project reminds us of something like a car (temporarily). That brings a lot of motivation.
In the meantime, Steven put some hands on the engine. The little 30hp motor looks pretty fine already. That’s how it can go on…!
