So, it seems the rear end is pretty much completely finished! Cool!! Looks good with those fenders and lights (and bumper, hehe) on :)

So, also wie es aussieht ist das hintere Ende vom Wagen so ziemlich fertig! Cool! Schaut doch ganz gut aus mit Kotflügeln und Lampen (und Stoßstange, hehe) dran :)

Finished the front hood today (and some little other stuff too) Now, the front is also completely finished with regard to metal work. Cool. Like it very much :-)

Heute habe ich die Kofferraumhaube fertiggestellt (und noch ein wenig anderen Krams) Die Front ist somit also auch komplett fertig was die Blecharbeiten angehen. Coole Sache :-)

Mean dent in the hood, but got it out quite nicely // Böse Beule in der Haube, aber hab sie ganz gut rausgekriegt :-)

and 'cos it's so nice, the back again as well :-) // und weil's so schön ist auch noch mal von hinten :-)

I finally have the original H-pattern rear apron on the 58. Thanks to Dennis and Emi I got hold of an original one. It was heavily rusted and already welded and cut, but in somewhat not-so-bad shape. Nevertheless, since I already had a new repo sheet, I thought it would be easier and faster to swap in the old H-pattern part into the new one instead of reparing the old one. Similar to how I did it at the front. Boy, how was I mistaken (once again… :-) )

Ich habe endlich ein originales Heckabschlussblech mit H-Prägung am 58er. Dank Dennis und Emi bin ich an ein Originalteil gekommen. Es war ordentlich verrostet und auch schon mal geschweißt und eingeschnitten, aber eigentlich in einem gar nicht so schlechten Zustand. Da ich aber auch schon ein neues Repro-Teil hier liegen hatte, dachte ich, es wäre einfacher und schneller mal eben das H-Teil in das neue Heckblech einzuschweißen. So ähnlich wie ich es bereits vorne gemacht hatte. Man, was lag ich da falsch (mal wieder … :-) )
