The extraordinary well looking seats motivated me to take a closer look at another wrapped up part: the steering wheel. Maybe another "as new" part?

Die extrem gut aussehende Innenausstattung motivierte mich, mir ein weiteres eingepacktes Teil vorzuknöpfen: das Lenkrad. Vielleicht auch so-gut-wie-neu?

Visited the oldy lady today at the paintshop - she's turning all green :-)

Ich konnte nicht länger warten und habe mich heute um die restliche Innenausstattung gekümmert und die Sitze ausgepackt. Das ist schon ein wenig wie Geschenke öffnen an Weihnachten :-)

Couldn't wait any longer and took care of the remaining interior parts today. Unwrapping the seats was a little bit like opening christmas presents :-)

Alles in allem bin ich schwer beeindruckt und freue mich riesig darauf die Teile einzubauen!
Kein Brandloch, keine Flecken, keine Risse - lediglich ein wenig Staub! :-)

I always knew that the red interior of my 58 are covers which were probably somewhen soon after the first owner bought the car. Now, only recently I decided to look what's underneath it! I was delighted! I found mint blue and gray parts in top condition! Next, I am going to take a look at the seats!

Ich wußte ja schon lange, dass das rote Interior meines 58er aus Bezügen besteht, die wohl vom Erstbesitzer irgendwann nach dem Kauf aufgezogen wurden. Aber erst vor kurzem habe ich mich entschieden einmal darunter zu schauen. Ich war doch sehr entzückt! Ich fand dort neuwertige blau graue Seitenteile in Top Zustand! :-)

Als nächstes schaue ich mir die Sitze an!
