The black '58

Heute konnte ich den Windschutzscheibenrahmen fertigstellen. Ich dachte ja zuerst, dass das ne knifflige Sache wird. Aber eigentlich hat es recht gut geklappt und ich bin mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden, die bearbeiteten Ecken müssen nun noch verzinnt und verschliffen werden und dann wird das passen. Prima!

Today I finished the wind shield frame. I first thought that this would become a tricky task, but it worked out to pretty well. Those corners need some tin-coating, grinding and sanding and then this will suit good. Great!

Aber nun mal alles schön der Reihe nach hier// but for now, let's do it step by step

1. Schablone aus Papier für grobe Umrisse // Paper template for rough estimation

2. Genaue Pappschablone als Vorlage // Exact template from cardboard

3. Teile aus Blech schön in Form gebracht // Parts from sheet metal shaped into form

4. Eingeschweißt, verschliffen und grundiert // welded in, grinded and primered

5. Und auf der anderen Seite natürlich ebenfalls // And of course on the other side as well
